Benefits of this Drill

On your knees, we get to showcase our hands out creating the halo out front

Balls closest to you, funnel right into the chest/logo

Balls a bit further out implement a small half circle moving towards the ball making sure the ball pops into the catching point

Creates confident hands while using the backhand and forehand

On your feet, reinforce your base and fine tunes your tempo

Receiving and Replacement now become one

Common Miscues

Player moves head and/or closes their eyes

Fingers of the glove not pointed down not showing the eye of the palm

Bare hand is on next to the glove to reinforce the ball

Pivots instead of replace

Receiving the ball in between the feet and knees
